This is a level 2+ pistol course that will stress fundamentals, and most importantly provide the “how” and the “why” in addition to what you are trying to accomplish throughout the training day.
Low Light Pistol provides instruction to armed individuals who are looking to become more proficient in no-light/low-light operations. This class focuses on increasing the students’ low light skill sets during real world operations through lecture and range exercises. We will briefly cover fundamentals before applying them. Students will participate in a variety of evolutions to include (but not limited to): individual movement, weapons manipulation, use of cover/concealment under dry & live fire drills.

- Use of weapons mounted lights
- Square Range Shooting Drills
- Equipment Failure Drills

- Movement to static shooting

- Target ID
- Shooting under stress
Prerequisites
Completed a vetted basic level pistol course (at least equivalent to Pistol 1 and Pistol 2 from CI)
You must be able to stand for extended periods of time and have no serious medical issues.
Be a U.S citizen who is legally allowed to possess a firearm.
Equipment
Clothes and equipment should be appropriate for the weather/season and training.
-A quality semi-automatic pistol
-A kydex-type holster affording trigger guard coverage
-Weapon light, pistol.
-Hand held tactical light.
-Spare Batteries for lights and optics.
-3 magazines with at least 1 magazine holster
-300 rounds of ammunition
-Ear and Eye protection
-Optional: sunscreen / bug spray
-Lots of water/snacks
-Clothing suitable for inclement weather
-Knee Pads (recommended)
-Weapons maintenance kit with lube.
Notes on gear: Please have the ability to carry on your body 2 spare magazines for your pistol. All firearms must be transported to and from the range in a soft or hard case with no ammunition within the same case as the firearm.
